Ned was in a good mood this afternoon, and somewhat punch-drunk from his day of wrestling with his computer woes. He comes into my office and the conversation turns to time-management techniques. Ned then offers this sagely insight: "Here's what I have to say about time management: if you're going to the bathroom, always take a dump and a piss at the same time."

I suggest that he write a book on the subject.

"Why would I," he says, pointing to his forehead. "It's all up here. Also,” he adds with a creepy wink, “I just had a moist, fibery muffin.”
