Episode 5: I hear the sounds of Ned

I hear the sounds of Ned and his crutches approaching. I ready myself for the admonishments I know I deserve. He stands in the doorway for a while, half smiling, but looking right at me. Then he says this: “I have pictures of your face all over my room, now.” He did not say why. He then adds this: “I am going to sit and watch my clock tick this weekend. With each tick, I’ll think of you and what you did.” He laughs and hobbles off down the hall.
