Episode 21: Ned calls out my name, over and over

Ned calls out my name, over and over, with some urgency. I can't tell if he's feigning his pain or not. Maybe he’s blown his tendon again, I think. I run over to his office doorway, and he says this:

"Hey, there's something stuck between my toes...can you reach down and pull it out? I would, but I can't."

"What is it?" I ask.

"Jam!" he says. Then, he laughs and laughs, and goes back to surfing the Internet for Costco deals.
